As airflow demands increase in supercharged Ford applications, Whipple offers a billet-machined 132mm elliptical electronic throttle body designed for 2015-2017 Ford Mustang and F-150 5.0L platforms using Whipple supercharger systems. This throttle body is rated at over 2000 CFM of airflow and is engineered to bolt directly to the Whipple supercharger inlet housing.

Often referred to as the "Roval" due to its elliptical blade design, this throttle body provides increased airflow while maintaining precise electronic throttle control. It reuses the factory electronic throttle motor and is pre-flowed and set to support repeatable idle characteristics when properly tuned.

Performance Notes:

• Gains of nearly 40 horsepower reported on Whipple Mustang supercharger systems at standard boost levels
• Power gains of nearly 200 horsepower observed on modified engines with increased boost and airflow demand

Fitment:

• 2015-2017 Ford Mustang 5.0L with compatible Whipple supercharger systems
• 2015-2017 Ford F-150 5.0L with compatible Whipple supercharger systems

Installation Notes:

• May require special/custom tuning
• If replacing a factory 80mm throttle body on a 2015-2017 Mustang or F-150, the kit version is required to provide the correct plastic air inlet tube and silicone hose

• Limited warranty: a Whipple product suspected of being defective is returned under Whipple's returns procedure; Whipple inspects it and decides whether it is covered and whether to repair or replace it, then ships it back by ground service.
• Superchargers make unique sounds; noises Whipple considers normal for a supercharger are not covered.
• Kits that list a model year, vehicle model or VIN need those details with the order so the right calibration is built.
