The V3 glass engine cover hood has a large central transparent window flanked by twin side vents that evacuate hot air from the engine bay while putting the engine on full display through the glass. 

It's the best of both worlds: the show-stopping visibility of the glass engine cover combined with the functional cooling benefits of a vented hood, making it the most complete hood design in the entire W205 lineup.
