The stock downpipes on the S55 are the single biggest bottleneck in the factory exhaust system. BMW engineered them to meet emissions regulations, not to let the twin turbos breathe freely. These downpipes remove that restriction and let the S55 3.0L twin-turbo I6 push exhaust gases out the way they were meant to flow - with less back pressure, faster turbo spool, and real gains in horsepower and torque that show up across the entire powerband.

Designed in-house under our GCA Performance line and engineered from high-grade stainless steel, the pipes are built to handle the sustained heat and pressure that the S55's twin-turbo setup produces without warping, cracking, or corroding over time. The lightweight construction saves weight over the factory units, and the increased flow translates directly to sharper throttle response and a more aggressive exhaust note.

Racing Cat Bypass Pipes are solely intended for track and race cars as they are NOT California Air Resources Board Certified (CARB) and not EPA certified.
